BDJ TV is an affiliate of Creative Vision Productions (CVP) based in Kingston, Jamaica. CVP is a multimedia production entity headed by one of Jamaica's pioneer film/video producer/director, Leo O'Reggio, popularly known as "Big Daddy". CVP has one of thelargest reggae/dancehall video catalogue in the Caribbean, from the 1980s to present.
"Big Daddy" Leo has been producing and directing reggae/dancehall entertainment videos, including TV / radio commercials, music videos, concerts, documentaries and TV shows since the late 1970s. As such, he has not only extensive TV production and broadcasting experience, but also has at his disposal a vast amount of historical Jamaican entertainment footage.
He is also a Health Communications Specialist who has been trained at the post graduate level at the University of the West Indies (UWI Jamaica), Johns Hopkins University (USA) and the Radio Nederland Training Centre (Holland). His vision is to use online social media marketing to address public health issues.
BDJ TV will use online social media marketing techniques to provide not only entertainment products but a range of sexual and reproductive products and services, as well as HIV prevention and life coping skills information, to a variety of target audiences, including young people.
